Good morning lovely readers!
We have a bit of a bittersweet message for you all today. As the summer has started to wind down, and we have officially become high school graduates, we have started to pack our bags and say our goodbyes. This week, we will both be heading back east to college. If it wasn’t for Left Over Green Beans, and all the support everyone has given us these past three years we wouldn’t be fulfilling this dream. So we want to thank all of you so much for your support and encouragement. For countless opportunities and endless belief in us.
We want to take a moment to thank the people who have been amazing supporters to us. First of all, our parents, whether it be letting us sew before doing our homework, or always bragging for us, to Aza’s grandmother for the endless piles of vintage fabrics and croquet. Eco Company, Calvin Ulery our website designer, Bart Nagel our talented photographer, our main models Leanna and Katya, Molly from Ambitalia Fabrics, the Alameda Flea Market for being such an inspiration to us, all the publications who have been interested in our work and Judi Shills for giving us our first fashion show. But most importantly to our friends, family and amazing fans, without you guys none of this would have been possible.
The good news is: with fashion and sustainability always on our minds, in our lives and studies, this won’t be the end to it all. Left Over Green Beans is still available for fashion shows, and other events, we will still be tweeting, Facebooking, and reading and responding to emails. We just won’t have the time to be producing full lines.
